Quality: ISO 9001

In 1996 quality, until then an exclusive standard of the automotive industry, began to spread to other industrial sectors, marking the beginning of a new business management model. At Adalis (Epidor Technical Distribution in those years), we did not let that occasion pass us by and we decided to be pioneers in giving a key role to quality in our industrial processes. It was in that year that we obtained our first ISO 9002 Quality Management System certification.

Our pioneering spirit led us to research international markets, analyzing their methodologies and then adopting the most innovative and strategic processes. However, our mission was not innovation, but to go one step further: we wanted to be pioneers in the way we managed quality. This new mission led us to become the first company in the distribution sector in Spain to be ISO 9001 certified. Later on, in 2010, we were awarded the ISO 9001-2008 certification and, in 2017, the ISO 9001-2015 certification.

Since then, our mission has been to enhance our internal processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Thus, we revolutionized our management system by means of a advanced in-house software which innovatively integrated process management, storage organization and stock control, providing exact traceability of each product throughout the sales process. Thanks to this, in 2002, we were awarded the Quality Award from the Generalitat of Cataloniabased on the EFQM model, which recognized best practices in the optimization and improvement of industrial processes.

Today, we maintain this pioneering spirit, analyzing each of our areas for improvement and providing effective solutions. With this modus operandiWe have achieved certifications that are essential to establish commercial relationships with strategic suppliers in our sector.
