The dream of a train of the future that will travel at the speed of an airplane is becoming a reality. A group of Valencians are working on a project that will change the way we travel and the way we conceive transfers between places. The first time we came into contact with this great technological challenge, it was clear to us that we wanted, in one way or another, to be part of it. This is how our sponsorship relationship with the Hyperloop UPV team was born. We tell you more.
Can you imagine traveling at a speed of 1200 km/hour? The curious thing is that the germ of the idea of this transport of futuristic longings was raised in the nineteenth century. As you can imagine, to cope with such a task with the technology of the time was an unattainable feat and never materialized. For history lovers, we invite you to read this article in this regard.

Hyperloop: the sustainable transport of the future
This transport is conceived as a capsule capable of moving by magnetic levitation at high speed through a low-pressure tube. It sounds like science fiction, but the project is getting closer and closer to seeing the light of day. It is a initiative that would drastically reduce pollution that covers our cities.
In our blood there are 300 polluting chemical substances that were not in the blood of our grandparents. And the current mobility model based largely on private vehicles causes an immense deterioration in public health and greenhouse gas emissions.

We sponsor the Hyperloop team
The Hyperloop UPV is a team formed by students from the Universitat Politècnica de València that, since 2015, has been working on prototypes that seek to become what, at some point, will become the transport of the future.
Year after year, this Team leads the list of first places in the "Hyperloop Pod Competition" organized by Space Xan aerospace manufacturing company led by Elon Musk himself.
In 2021, Hyperloop UPV will focus its efforts on creating a new prototype, based on substantial improvements to its previous proposal, aimed at:
- Systems integration, optimization and efficiency from research work in electromagnetic technology and innovative manufacturing systems.
- Propulsion applicable to the final Hyperloop concept.
In addition to these objectives focused on the materialization of the prototype itself, it is proposed to carry out studies of the environmental and social impact of its use as a new means of transportation.
For our part, we can only encourage you to follow the progress of this initiative, which we hope will soon go beyond the walls of the university laboratory that hosts it.
