Selecting the right slewing ring bearing can be complicated. That's why ADALIS Industrial Solutions, together with SKF's technical department, can assist you in the process of selecting the right slewing ring bearing for your application.

Slewing rings consist of an inner ring and an outer ring. One of them usually incorporates a gear which, in combination with the fastening holes of both rings, allows optimized power transmission with simple and fast connection between adjacent machine components. The raceways, rolling elements and spacers are designed to carry loads and act alone, in combination and in any direction.

Depending on their design, SKF slewing rings have the following characteristics:

High load capacity
Supporting and transmitting operational loads

They can be integrated:

At ADALIS we offer you several SKF designs of standard and customized slewing rings with outer diameters between 0.1 m and 18 m. With them you will be able to meet any type of requirement.

The most commonly used designs are:

Four point contact ball bearings
Optimum economy and capacity for given dimensions or when replacing existing multiple bearing arrangements.
Eight point contact ball bearings
One 80% more capacity than a single row ball bearing with four contact points of the same size.
Transverse cylindrical roller bearings
High rigidity and constant resistance to rotation.
Triple row roller bearings
They offer greater capacity. Very useful for certain diameters.
Ball bearing with raceway made of hardened steel wire
A 60% lighter than bearings of the same size made entirely of steel.
