First of all, we hope that you and yours are in good health.

We are all living an exceptional situation. At ADALIS, we know that we are neither the most affected nor the worst affected. But even so, we try to do our utmost to protect our teams while continuing to provide service to our customers.

Following the government's announcement on March 28th, and according to point 5 of the Annex of RDL 10/2020, ADALIS is included as a service related to essential activity sectors. This means that we are still open and operational.

We know that many of you produce medicines, food, beverages, hygiene products, cleaning products and other necessities. Others of you keep running the plants that produce the energy we consume, the networks that allow us to communicate, or the vehicles that transport basic necessities. For all of you, we remain at your side even in these difficult times.

That's why we want to explain some of the things we are doing to try to limit the risks we run in our work and how these measures may affect you.

On March 13, we began implementing telecommuting, sending 40% of our staff to work from home. On March 20, we completed the second phase of implementation, with the result that we now have 80% of our team working from home in an attempt to protect their health and try to help stop the spread of the virus. The people who remain working in the different centers of our business group are the essential ones: basically the logistics and production services, in addition to the minimum services of other departments.

We have done this deployment in only ten days, so some aspects such as telephone sound quality are probably not the usual. We are sure you understand this and it doesn't bother you. Just as if you eventually call us and hear a child in the background...

In the coming days, we will begin to implement flexibility measures to adapt as best we can. As the industrial activity is falling, we are increasing the time we dedicate to internal training (we want to be more prepared when all this happens), and taking advantage of this to finalize auxiliary projects we had underway. We will also adjust our internal schedules to ensure service while having the flexibility to adapt our resources to the needs of the moment.

For now, this will only mean two changes for you:

  • The cut-off time for processing orders to be shipped on the same day, as of Monday, March 30, is now 12:30 pm. Orders processed after that time will be prepared and shipped the following day.
  • During Easter Week, between Monday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 8, customer service hours will be from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.The deadline for processing orders for shipment during the day remains at 12:30 p.m.

Everything is uncertain right now: the evolution of the virus, the industrial activity and the measures taken by the authorities. For the time being, the state of alert was extended for another 15 days on March 25. At ADALIS, we will continue to adapt as quickly as possible to any developments and will inform you promptly.

In the meantime, we want to send you a message of encouragement so that together we can resist in the best way possible to this exceptional situation we are living.

Please let us know if you have any questions or comments. We are here to try to help.
